“Wired for Success, Programmed for Greatness”

Who We Are

We created this team to compete in FTC. We are from different schools and backgrounds but came together sharing the love for robotics, wanting to learn and apply new engineering skills and principals.

What is FTC?

FIRST Tech Challenge also known as FTC is at its simplest a competition for building robots to complete tasks. In reality it is so much more. FIRST stands for ‘For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology’, something everyone gains. FTC is where 7th to 12th graders can design, build, program, and operate robots while learning valuable skills along the way in a competition. In addition, to quote their website, “FIRST is a global robotics community preparing young people for the future and the world's leading youth-serving nonprofit advancing STEM education.” FTC is also a great extra-curricular, providing great opportunities and over 80 million in scholarships. Using Java based programming and being powered by Android technology, robots will test the limits of performance, efficiency, and endurance. FTC is a great way to enhance learning and a passion for robotics.

“There’s nothing I believe in more strongly than getting young people interested in science and engineering, for a better tomorrow, for all of mankind.“
